The Summit on Philanthropy celebrates our community’s commitment to improving our quality of life through philanthropy. This year’s keynote speaker Brad Formsma will inspire you to fuel your passion through the strategic giving of philanthropy. Brad has been invited to speak to groups all over the country, including Johns Hopkins, PBS, Kaiser Institute for Health, Dave Ramsey, the Today Show, and Fox News.
For the second year, the Community Foundation is providing an opportunity to not only talk about philanthropy but to also to put it in action. The Community Foundation will once again emphasize an opportunity for attendees to live out strategic giving. This initiative will be promoted using the hashtag #SummitGivesBack. Last year our community embraced the #SummitGivesBack campaign and raised over $120,000 for these projects - $59,000 of which was raised in one day at the Summit on Philanthropy. For our tenth Summit on Philanthropy, funds will be raised to support the Women's Endowment which is serving homeless women and families in our community.
