Keynote speaker Peter Kageyama is the author of For the Love of Cities: The Love Affair Between People and Their Places, and the follow ups, Love Where You Live: Creating Emotionally Engaging Places and The Emotional Infrastructure of Places.
In 2021, he released For the Love of Cities REVISITED, an updated version of the award winning book which explores the significant relationship between local economic growth and feelings of passion and loyalty among community residents.
As a sought-after community development consultant and grassroots engagement strategist, he speaks all over the world about bottom-up community development and the amazing people who are making change happen.
Peter shares how the mutual love affair between people and their places can be one of the most powerful influences in our lives. As he helps identify and inspire an emotional love for 'home,' his strategies play a key role in defining the future direction of our cities.
