Community Conversations

Think strategically about our community's needs

We believe that when we take the time to talk to one another, we can more quickly develop solutions. That's why we gather key community influencers to discuss our community's most challenging issues and generate meaningful solutions for the areas of need that affect quality of life in our region.

The goal of the Community Conversation is to learn from the public about the gaps and barriers that exist regarding safety, security, and stability and to also identify community priorities. Feedback gathered will be used to inform the 2022 Women’s Philanthropy Society Grant. Focus areas under this topic include but are not limited to child abuse, disaster response, domestic violence, elder abuse, food insecurity, homelessness, and human trafficking.

Women’s Philanthropy Society Community Conversation on Safety, Security, and Stability will be held February 18 from 9:00-10:30 am at the Redstone Federal Credit Union located at 220 Wynn Drive.
